Amoseeds review: a first-harvest organic matcha for better homemade lattes
Amoseeds is a French company from Belfort. Its Organic Ceremonial Matcha Tea tops our ranking. We went through the product page, prices, shipping, returns and customer reviews to tell you who it really suits.

My opinion in short:
4.9
/5
The Organic Ceremonial Matcha Tea has a single ingredient: powdered Camellia sinensis tea leaves, picked in Japan during the first spring harvest. The powder carries the organic label inspected by Ecocert France (FR-BIO-10) and is packed in France.
For a latte, the brand recommends 2 g of powder, i.e. two level teaspoons. A 100 g pouch therefore makes about fifty cups: €0.76 per cup, or €0.68 with the code LMC10. On the customer side, the shop shows 4.8/5 on Trustpilot from 2,743 reviews (checked on 27/10/2026).

Who is this Matcha brand for?
Who is Amoseeds for?
Amoseeds is aimed at people who make a matcha latte almost every day and want an organic Japanese matcha without paying high-end tea house prices. The ceremonial grade can also be drunk with water, as usucha, so you can switch depending on your morning.
Do you mostly drown your matcha in lots of milk, a smoothie or cake batter? The cheaper Premium 70 g will do the job. On the other hand, if a published lab report is a must for you, look at other brands in our comparison.
Our favourite products
The favorite product

Organic Ceremonial Matcha Tea 100 g
The brand's flagship: a first spring harvest powder that Amoseeds describes as smooth, free of bitterness and umami. For a latte, whisk 2 g into a splash of water at 80 °C, then top up with the milk of your choice, hot or iced. Price: €37.99 for the 100 g pouch, or €34.20 with LMC10. The product page shows 4.8/5 from 143 reviews.

Organic Premium Matcha Tea 70 g
Harvested in autumn in the Kagoshima region, this matcha has a more vegetal taste with slight bitterness, according to the brand. It is the sensible option for a milky latte, a smoothie or baking. Price: €19.99 for 70 g, i.e. €0.57 per 2 g cup. The product page shows 4.9/5 from 136 reviews.
Our analysis: Amoseeds for matcha lattes
Origin and harvest: what the product page says
The leaves come from Japan. According to Amoseeds, the tea bushes are shaded for 15 to 30 days before picking, which is done by hand in spring; the leaves are then dried and ground on a ceramic stone mill.
Organic status and transparency
The pouch carries the EU organic label, inspected by Ecocert France (code FR-BIO-10), and packing takes place in France. The brand says each batch is checked by an outside laboratory, but no results can be viewed online. That is the main point keeping it from a 5/5.
The right dose for a latte
Amoseeds recommends 2 g for a light matcha and 4 g for a stronger one. For a latte, sift 2 g of powder, whisk it with a little water at 80 °C until foamy, then pour in the milk. Matcha contains caffeine: the brand suggests not drinking it after 4 pm.
The real price per cup
At €37.99 per 100 g, a 2 g cup costs €0.76. With the code LMC10, the pouch drops to €34.20, i.e. €0.68 per cup. The subscription (delivery every 1, 3 or 6 months) shows €34.19 but does not accept the code. Watch the shipping costs: pick-up point delivery costs €3.49 and is only free from €40. A single pouch does not reach that threshold.
What customers say
On Trustpilot, Amoseeds scores 4.8/5 from 2,743 reviews across all its products (checked on 27/10/2026). On the ceremonial matcha page, the review widget run by the brand counts 143 ratings: 130 five-star, 11 four-star, one three-star and one one-star, i.e. 4.88/5. Several customers say they make it with plant-based milk.
Our verdict
First harvest, organic label, about fifty lattes per pouch and a modest price per cup: Amoseeds ticks the boxes that matter for an everyday matcha latte. It lacks published lab results to earn the top score. If you order a single pouch, remember the code LMC10 and the shipping costs.
Amoseeds Ceremonial vs Amoseeds Premium
FAQ
Does the code LMC10 work on the subscription?
No. On 27/10/2026, the code was accepted for a one-off purchase (€37.99 down to €34.20) but refused on the subscription, which is already shown at €34.19.
How many matcha lattes does one pouch make?
About fifty with the 2 g dose recommended by Amoseeds. The packaging mentions around 100 cups, but that figure is based on 1 g per cup.
Ceremonial or Premium: which Amoseeds matcha should I pick?
The Ceremonial comes from the first spring harvest and is meant for a smooth drink, with water or as a latte. The Premium is harvested in autumn, tastes more vegetal and suits very milky drinks or cooking better.
How do I make a matcha latte with Amoseeds?
Sift 2 g of powder into a bowl, add a little water at 80 °C, whisk in a zigzag until foam forms, then pour in hot or cold milk. Sweeten only if needed.
Is shipping free?
Pick-up point delivery costs €3.49 and becomes free from €40. Home delivery is free from €60. A single pouch, even with the code, stays below these thresholds.
Can I send the matcha back if I don't like it?
Amoseeds accepts returns within 14 days of purchase for an unused item in its original packaging. There is no money-back guarantee on an opened pouch.
